Turn Photos Into Profits with Templates
Overview
This seminar is an introduction to the Template Workshop and the two main template tool bars located in Darkroom Core, Professional and Assembly Edition. In this seminar the instructor will walk the class through building three borders using the major tools in Darkroom—a single photo template, a multi-photo template and a greenscreen template. By the end of the training attendees will be able to build their own templates and be more familiar with the methods and tools for creating borders.

The Retouch Money Tree
Overview
This class will be taught exclusively in the Retouch Workshop located in Darkroom Professional and Assembly Editions. The Retouch Workshop was created to help photographers quickly apply money making edits to photos without the use of third-party software. Photographers will learn how to create the popular portrait and wedding product – colorized photos. Attendees will also learn to quickly make edits that can be sold to clients as advanced retouching such as removing blemishes and wrinkles, whitening teeth and eyes and removing objects from photos. With these new skills photographers will be able to up-sell colorized photos and retouching services, with minimal time needed to edit the photos to create the finished product.

This class will walk photographers through an entire sample studio photography workflow using Darkrom Professional Edition software. This workflow works great for both portrait and wedding photography. The workflow taught in this class begins with capturing photos. Students will then learn to sort through the images to show to clients, and to do basic retouching to get the pictures ready to present. Retouching might include color correction, cropping, creating custom products to sell to clients and more. The class will then learn how to use the Presentation Mode to elegantly present photos and make the highest sale possible while the client is at the selling presentation. Students will then learn how to fulfill the print orders through Darkroom using onsite printing or professional labs. The class will finish off with learning about PhotoReflect.com to sell additional photos online after the shoot.
